Canadian musicians Jan Randall and Barbara Leah Meyer are returning to Europe in autumn 2026, bringing together decades of musical experience in Canada and Europe.

Barbara Leah Meyer is a jazz vocalist with a long history of performing in Germany and throughout Europe. She has appeared with the Baden-Badener Philharmonie, European Philharmonia Baden-Baden and Philharmonie Südwestfalen, as well as at jazz festivals and major venues in Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Sweden and elsewhere. Her seven recorded albums include Broadway Symphony, recorded with the Baden-Badener Philharmonie. Barbara is fluent in German.

Jan Randall is a pianist, composer, songwriter and musical storyteller whose career has ranged from theatre and jazz to original songs, recording and television. His first solo album, Good Fair World, was followed by performances in Berlin, London, Rome and across Western Canada. His subsequent album Wait in Line reached #3 on CKUA with its first single, Feel the Sun.

Together, Jan and Barbara bring a distinctive combination of jazz, piano, original songs, storytelling, humour and improvisation.

A flexible concert or club program combining Barbara’s jazz repertoire with Jan’s original music, stories and piano improvisation.

For larger concert presentations, Barbara’s Broadway Symphony program brings the American Songbook to life with lush orchestral arrangements and stories about the composers and their music.

During their autumn 2026 travels, Jan and Barbara are interested in reconnecting with musicians, presenters, festivals, theatres, clubs and arts organizations, as well as developing new musical collaborations.
