Fred Keating

This letter is in regards to an application for support made to the Foundation from Jan Randall, musician, composer, conductor based in Edmonton.

Mr. Randall’s resume speaks for itself in terms of his international experience, broadcast track record in composition and music production, local profile as singer/songwriter/performer and CKUA radio personality.

But the Jan Randall I have known for 28 years also has always been a keen contributor to the professional music and performance industries in the province – the world, in fact, if you factor in his years at the Banff World Television Festival.

Mr. Randall has accompanied me at countless charitable events providing entertainment and enhancing those special evenings or afternoons for a wide variety of deserving individuals and organizations. He’s also become the musical “go to guy” for industry events in housing, health care, financial management and, of course, the World Games that were held in our province some years ago.

In short, he’s become quite a musical “ambassador” for Alberta here in the province, around Canada and abroad.
